		<description><![CDATA[We are doing Magic Flute at Winthrop University in two weeks and have the similar situation.  We debated on which language to use and ultimately chose to sing in German and speak dialogue in English.  I believe this is the best way to allow students and artists to perform in the original language (of which is sung most often) AND allow the audience to follow the plot and enjoy what&#039;s happening on stage.  I shared your blog with my colleagues and appreciate Kim Witman&#039;s insight on this.]]></description>
